Stays by Design was created from a simple observation: short-term properties are often managed as businesses, furnished as projects and marketed as listings — but rarely considered as a complete travel experience.
We believe better-performing stays come from bringing these pieces together. The property needs to work commercially, function seamlessly for the people running it and feel considered for the people staying in it.

Meet Emma
Emma has over 9 years’ experience in short-term rentals, working as both a host and co-host across a range of Airbnb properties.
She currently manages 8+ properties, giving her first-hand insight into guest experience, operations, pricing, presentation and performance.
With a background in design, branding and business management, she created Stays by Design to bring these disciplines together — helping property owners create more thoughtful, better-performing stays.
Emma is an experienced member of Airbnb’s Co-Host Network, which brings together established, high-performing hosts who meet Airbnb’s ongoing standards for guest ratings and hosting performance. She was also featured in Airbnb’s 2025 global Co-Host Network campaign.

Stays by Design is deliberately personal. You work directly with Emma, with a dedicated local host working closely alongside her. Together, we know your property inside out — from its day-to-day operations and guest experience to its pricing, presentation and performance.
